I always think that my life would make for an interesting story . Plenty of adventures and misadventures ........ loves found and lost ........ rambling like a rolling stone , but finally now coming

to a place where I am beginning to gather moss . From a slimy pebble to a dark green boulder .

Weighed down by that all that has been , soon to be unburdened of these crazy human emotions . I shall become light as an ashe..... floating into the realm of the unknown . Look for me on a clear night , high high above it all .

Ah, but alas ..... in this life I can but write a paragraph or two before my eagerness wanes . If ever completed.... I guess it will be done posthumourously .

Yeah writing is hard. But there’s always improvement. The more you force yourself to write the better you become. I’m in awe of really good writing. It may as well be magic for all I know. I find it a difficult and mysterious art form.

I can't remember how your "forum" came into my realm . But, it is one of the few I still read . What draws me is the feeling it is written from a real person. A unique person. Putting your story out there from your ...dare i say... heart .

The temptation to become "popular" ...... invites the idea of writing FOR others . Always stay true to thyself , me dollyboy . ( with a little allowance to try to hit the jackpot once in a while ) .

Basically-I really liked reading that! Thanks Dollyboy!

Wow, this is wild - I would watch this movie. You should send your stuff to a producer.

That producer: Yuval Noah Harari.

Jokes! (Looking forward to the next installment).

Hey Excess, I just want to say thanks so much for transcribing Julian Assange’s first statement after gaol. You did a really good job-you’re your own worst critic! Transcriber B has years of experience. I am one who would rather read about a current event rather than watch the video! So thanks again! And thanks Dollyboy for letting me use this space. You see, I subscribe to one substacker, and donate here and there to another, then I can’t afford any more. 🙁

haha - you’re welcome. It took me three hours to transcribe a 20 minute speech. It was really hard work.

Glad you liked it.

Yes, I did like it, and appreciated it very much! Three hours! If you practice, you could take over from Transcriber B ! She said to me about 6 months or so back, that she was only going to do it for another 2 or so years!

I know you could get really good at it !

Lol. That guy gives me the creeps. I did write it for a "cinematic" short story competition but it didn't make the long list. Probably not woke enough. Meh competitions are for horses.

Yuval Noah Harari is probably the worst creep ever, in the whole world ever! Looks like a creep, sounds like a creep, must be a creep. I hope a million deadly tarantulas creep all over him!

It could do well in Asia. Not in the west. You're right - they only want woke trash here.

It’s clumsy … but I’m trying.

It's grand.

I got swept away into a story which read like fiction then non-fiction, settling as a mish-mash pastiche of little narratives. Hints of grand narratives and so many loose threads of sci-fi dystopia.

It's a dream that the Egegrore of humanity's last warrior shared together. It's a collected repressed trauma from the four years of horror the Egegrore cannot come to terms with yet.

We can always dream though. Digest the mish-mash until one night our dream lays bare for us its deepest meaning.

Egegrore... Interesting idea. Collective ego?
